| Worthy Missions
The four
cornerstones of Auxiliary activity are:
Member Service Tasks performed in support of the
other missions of the Auxiliary
Recreational Boating Safety Activities conducted to
improve the knowledge, skills and operating environment of the
recreational boater
Coast Guard & State Support Assisting the USCG
and States in operational activities, both in traditional roles and in
non-traditional administrative work.
Fellowship An essential ingredient. The Coast Guard
encourages a close relationship between Auxiliary members and Coast Guard
personnel.
Members participate in a variety of activities including
Courtesy Marine examinations of pleasure boats, surface patrols,
navigational aid verification watch-standing at Coast Guard units, and air
operations (transport flights for Coast Guard Personnel, Environmental and
Marine Safety patrols, Search & Rescue).
Auxiliarist also volunteer in the following areas:
